"My biggest advantage over everyone else? I've failed a thousand times but they've only failed once. They've still got 999 to go. That's my only advantage."

Hubris complicates life to such a large degree that humanity today seems to be on a progress plateau. Much of the creative & tech world seems to be beginning to revisit the past to figure out why nostalgia is growing but the modern cult scene is extinct.

"...as adults if we knew how infinitesimal our knowledge of the world really is, we'd see ourselves as them(babies) too, relishing failure so that progress can occur"

The truth is, a baby learns to walk by constantly falling down and as adults if we knew how infinitesimal our knowledge of the world really is, we'd see ourselves like them too, relishing failure so that progress can be made, but no...we keep trying to prop ourselves up by coming up with quick fixes that lead to broken economies & mediocre, recycled advances in technology, while inequalities persist.

My journey began much in the same way. I didn't come from a strictly entrepreneurial family but have always been fascinated with the combination of creativity & business. My first try at 'business' was a carwash for a fundraiser that quickly initiated me into the school of hard knocks. Not too long from then, i became obsessed with the art and business of creative expression through music and in the enigmatic world of video storytelling through film. I spent 25 years working on every part of the stage play process, with cast & crews of up to 40 people in Singapore & sometimes traversing the globe. It wasn't long before I was trying my hand at the film production business process itself.

"I began to realise that there was actually no future in the modern media & film industry, not just for me, but for hundreds of thousands of aspiring artists & technicians"

This was when i realised that the inequalities in the film industry were so huge that someone like me entering it, could be seen as a David of sorts, facing Goliath, except there seemed to be no way of winning.

For close to 10 years, i tried on every hat in the industry i could - music composition, screenwriting, producing for TV, Advertisement production, & my own passion, acting. Yet, the industry seemed so dead set in the archaic past, that there was no way to crack it. I began to realise that there was actually no future in the modern media & film industry, not just for me, but for hundreds of thousands of aspiring artists & technicians. Then came AI, serving it's seeming death blow.

This was when i met Dr. Karthi, while i was producing a show for an exceptional woman leader in Malaysia, a top engineer by profession, to host a talk show up in India leading the women's empowerment movement. Karthi was her workmate, an exceptional technologist who did his PhD in Artificial Intelligence and led large projects for global MNCs. We had made huge headway for the show, securing TV channel interest and securing funding, but then it got pulled because the producers feared that an unknown face couldn't bring in an audience. The risk was just too high.

"All this was going on amidst the backdrop of the upheaval of the film industry globally, with AI "threatening" job prospects, and writers demanding fair pay."

I was flustered by it for a moment, but this was when we began to ideate a solution. The industry had to be disrupted, because that would unlock latent potential and give birth to some crazy art to be witnessed on screens! All this was going on amidst the backdrop of the upheaval of the film industry globally, with AI "threatening" job prospects, and writers demanding fair pay, as well as a sense among industry insiders that the future was bleak. Disruption was no longer a need, but a must.

FourT3 was born in this climate. We envisioned a platform that not only levels the playing field, but also gives everyone equal sway while ensuring they can make a living and then some, by creating film art for the world!

And that's exactly what FourT3 does

"...i see FourT3 as the sum total of all the lessons i learnt from my failures, right from my first fundraiser carwash business till date. It's my log of perfection through error."

If anything, i see FourT3 as the sum total of all the lessons i learnt from my failures, right from my first fundraiser carwash business till date. FourT3 is my log of perfection through error. That's how i see it, and my hope is that it will be of great benefit to humanity's next step up the ladder of advancement & expression.
