M.Karthigayan

Dr Karthigayan is currently a head, AI and Technology for ASRIX PRIME BERHAD. He is also MDEC TALENT Expert Network Panel for Data, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies.  He has more than 20 years of experience and played various roles as Senate Member (University), Senior Management, Director, Researcher, Consultant, Key note speaker for Industry for 4.0 including MNC in many vital areas such as Digital Transformation and AI,  Payment System and also his vast academic, research and management experience, he acquired the CEng (Chartered Engineer) title and also IntPE (International Professional Engineer) from Engineering Council UK. He is also sitting on board and advising companies.

Karthigayan is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified and had earned good experience in using Lean Six Sigma in improving the process in efficient way and also TRIZ for the innovation during his industrial journey. He is also certified HRDF trainer. He has published/co-authored more than 50 Research papers that include Book Chapters, Journals and International conferences. He has been accepted as panel member for Malaysian Quality Agency and also Industry Advisory Panel member and Accreditation External Examiner for universities. He has been part of program co-chair, reviewing committees and organizing committee for many International conferences and Journals and serving as an Editor for International Journal and as a Chairman of 2021-2022 for IEEE System Man Cybernetics society (Malaysia).

Currently, he is co-supervising researchers on the title “A Secured Consensus Algorithm using Blockchain Technology for Swarm Robotics”.  

Currently, he is focusing in offering consultation and deliver solutions for Manufacturing, agriculture, retail and education for digital transformation involving the latest technologies, considering the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspect. He also involved in the projects like water and energy management for residential and commercial sectors, quality control and Artificial Intelligence projects (NLP, Vision). He is also conducting Understanding Digital Transformation training under HRD Corp.

He is a senior member of IEEE (System, Man and Cybernetics Society- SMC Society), Member of Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Member of Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Member of International Association of Engineers (MIAENG) & Life Member of MYTRIZ (Malaysia).
